Coach Kiat Xuan is an accredited NROC coach for swimming, and a provisional coach for modern pentathlon and fencing. He first started swimming competitively during his days in Singapore Sports School, and has branched into Modern Pentathlon races. Kiat Xuan has recently graduated with a distinction in the Sport Science degree. He strives to integrate his extensive coaching knowledge and expertise in sport science to empower all athletes to achieve their sporting dream.
Swim Coaching Experience
Coach Kiat Xuan first started his 3 months attachment as an assistant coach back in 2016. He coaches both primary school students for the SwimSafer program and sports academy students on a 1:10; and is a certified SwimSafer 2.0 Instructor and Assessor who ensures that candidates have the required swim proficiency while having survival skill set in the water. Kiat Xuan also does stroke correction for beginner to competitive swimmers on a 1:1 basis.
