Modern Pentathlon

In a nutshell

Do you know that Pentathlon has been in the Ancient Olympics since its first inception in 776 BC?

Modern Pentathlon is governed by the Union Internationale de Pentathlon Moderne, commonly known as UIPM. As a flagship of sports, it offers the ultimate test of an athlete’s fitness, courage and skill. The Modern Pentathlon combines 5 events: Pistol shooting; Fencing; Swimming; Horse riding; and Running, which are completed in a day.

To further promote the sport, UIPM board came out with shorter forms of the Modern Pentathlon, namely: Tetrathlon, Triathle, Biathle, and Laser Run. This creates a wonderful pathway for anyone to become the ultimate athlete in the near future.
